Company

Engineering that fits the site, executed with discipline

“What sets Novatek apart is the integration discipline that carries process automation onto the shop floor.”
  • Every project is based on international standards, occupational health and safety legislation and energy efficiency criteria.
  • From design through installation to commissioning, the process is managed by a single party; responsibility is never split between suppliers.
  • Maintenance, service and technical support mean the operating life of the investment is backed by the same team.

How we work

Seven steps from first meeting to acceptance report

Each step has a defined input, output and acceptance criterion. No step begins before the previous one closes.

  1. Technical survey

Part geometry, capacity targets and energy infrastructure are measured on site.

  2. Process design

Stage count, cycle time and temperature window are calculated.

  3. Concept and budget

Layout plan, equipment list and investment budget are presented.

  4. Detailed engineering

Mechanical, electrical and automation designs are submitted for approval.

  5. Manufacturing and inspection

Workshop manufacturing and pre-assembly testing are completed.

  6. Site installation

Mechanical, electrical and automation connections are executed under HSE supervision.

  7. Commissioning

Performance testing, training, documentation and acceptance.

Case study

Colour stability in plastic part painting

Problem

Colour and gloss varied between shifts on plastic exterior body parts; because booth humidity and temperature were uncontrolled, first-pass yield was falling.

Solution

Booth air was connected to a humidity- and temperature-controlled air handling unit, a flame treatment unit was integrated at the line entry, and paint application was moved to a two-robot cell, removing operator-induced variation.

Result

Shift-to-shift colour variation was eliminated, first-pass yield improved and the workload in the touch-up area dropped markedly. Process parameters became reportable per shift.

Standards and compliance

The framework applied in design and manufacturing

Every line is engineered to European machinery safety legislation and the relevant product standards; the technical file and declaration of conformity are part of the delivery.

  • 2006/42/AT

CE marking and technical file preparation under the Machinery Directive.

  • ATEX 2014/34/AB

Explosive atmosphere classification and zone-compliant equipment selection.

  • EN 12215

Safety requirements for spray booths: ventilation and fire protection measures.

  • EN 1539

Solvent vapour safety in drying and curing ovens.

  • EN 60204-1

Safety of machinery electrical equipment and control panel design.

  • EN ISO 13849-1

Safety circuits designed with performance level (PL) calculation.
